A new local care service in London from leading home care provider, The Good Care Group

Who are we?

Established in 2023, our aim is to be the home care provider of choice in local areas across the United Kingdom.

We are starting our journey by offering person-centred live-in and hourly care across London, with a vision to extend our services throughout the United Kingdom.

Cherished Home Care is well-equipped in achieving this, by having the same leadership team as our sister companies, The Good Care Group and Oxford Aunts. Together, these two brands have over 70 years of experience in the industry and have earned acclaim and recognition for their exceptional care through glowing CQC inspections and numerous industry awards. Their knowledge and expertise is shared with us to be delivered directly to you.

We believe that having the opportunity to keep your independence and remain in the comfort of your own home is the preferred option for many. For you to remain happy at home, our approach is to ensure continuity of care, by offering longer rota patterns so that you can have the same carers visiting your home over an extensive period of time, which you may not receive from another care provider. This will allow you to build strong, lasting relationships and to improve your quality of life – it’s all about choice.

Our carers

All of our carers have at least six months of professional care experience or recent experience providing personal care to a loved one. When joining Cherished Home Care, it is compulsory for carers to attend our five-day induction programme. This is the same as The Good Care Group and Oxford Aunts’ award-winning training programme, which has been endorsed by Age UK for going above industry expectations to give carers the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to ensure that their clients receive a high level of care.

Our training programme has been designed to supply our carers with the right tools, skills and mindset to provide exceptional care to you or your loved ones. It also opens many avenues for our carers to further develop their expertise, reach their full potential, and drive progress in the sector. This is fulfilled by giving them the opportunity to attend our advanced training for complex conditions to ensure that you receive the very best care.

Before our carers start their placement, we will have a conversation about creating a work schedule that aligns with their preferences, so that expectations are understood and can be met for both you and the carer. Our working patterns for live-in carers are typically longer than most other live-in care providers, as this will enable a continuation of care for you, to build stronger relations and to increase job satisfaction for our carers.
