Personal care
Help with washing, toileting, and getting dressed, as well as maintaining hair, nails, and appearance.
Safe mobility
Ensuring you mobilise safely in and outside your home, managing any trip hazards, and calling on the support of our in-house occupational therapists for expert advice.
Companionship
Ensuring you always have a friendly face to talk to and to provide stimulating conversation and activities – whether that’s someone to visit the shops with or to discuss your interests
Household tasks
Light housework, including vacuuming, laundry, cleaning the dishes, dusting and watering your plants, so that you can relax and enjoy being in your home.
Medication support
Assisting with medication administration, which is recorded on a digital platform and closely monitored by your care team.
Pet care
Everything from taking your pooch for their daily walk, cuddles and fuss, to keeping them fed and watered and keeping their homes clean, too.
Food prep & cooking
Our carers are happy to prepare healthy, nutritious meals for you, but if you prefer to be involved in the cooking process, they’ll provide as much or little assistance as you require.
Social trips
Our carers can help you stay in touch with your local community by getting you out and about to see friends, attend social groups, or simply go for a coffee and cake at your local café.
Complex care tasks
Overseen by our clinical experts, our carers can perform more complex care tasks, including assisting with PEG feeding, stoma care and blood sugar monitoring.
Domiciliary care meaning?
The term ‘domiciliary’ simply refers to the care provided in the individual’s home, as opposed to care being delivered in a hospital or residential setting. This term is now used in both private and public healthcare to describe the type of home care commonly provided to elderly individuals and veterans.
In home care, domiciliary care refers to a range of services, such as personal care, housekeeping, and assistance with daily living activities. The care is always provided in the person’s home and can range from a couple of hour visits each day throughout the week, helping the individual to remain comfortable and healthy at home.
Domiciliary care can also be referred to as ‘hourly care’, ‘visiting care’, or ‘home care’ – but essentially refers to the same concept.
Our domiciliary home care services
Live-in care
Around-the-clock support
Our domiciliary carers can provide support on a wraparound basis, particularly for overnight assistance whilst your primary live-in carer takes a break. This is a popular choice if you are living an ongoing condition such as stroke recovery, dementia or cancer and require monitoring at all times.
Hourly care
Support provided by the hour
As a domiciliary care provider, we can provide support to you on a visiting basis for as little as one hour per day, three times a week. This will be entirely flexible to your needs, and a range of assistance can be provided, including personal care, running errands, and companionship.

Our personal carers
We value our domiciliary carers for their dedication to supporting you and our clients in enjoying their home life. They are the heart of our service and distinguish us from other domiciliary care agencies. That’s why we have a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we have the right people joining our close-knit team.
While we offer comprehensive training to all our carers, regardless of their experience, we also look for those who are empathetic – a quality that cannot be taught. This is assessed through our situational judgement test, which presents scenarios that our home carers may encounter in real-life situations. We use this to evaluate their responses and problem-solving abilities.
